The ruling on burying a woman with a man in the same grave

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Burying a male with a female?

Answer:
No, a male is not buried with a female. It should be females with females, and males with males. This is the most common practice, as I believe, and Allah knows best.
It may be said: there is no harm if it is with a mahram (a relative one may not marry), there is no harm. The matter is a matter of death, it is no longer a matter of this world. I do not remember now what the scholars said about this, but I remember: there is nothing wrong with placing two or three people in a grave when there is a need.
As for when there are women and men, I do not remember any statement from the scholars of knowledge on this, but it is my strong opinion that the more appropriate and better option—and Allah knows best—is for the men to be alone and the women to be alone.
