The ruling on a woman caressing her husband and vice versa while they are in a state of ablution

She says: Does a husband’s caressing invalidate the ablution?

Answer: A husband’s caressing is good and prescribed. She should caress her husband and he should caress her; this is part of the affection with one’s family. Caressing is from the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) with his wives. He used to caress them and they used to caress him (peace and blessings be upon him). It does not invalidate the ablution. Mere caressing, such as kissing, joking, touching, and lying with her in her blanket or in his blanket, all of this is permissible, and none of this invalidates the ablution unless the private parts are touched or something is emitted. If he touches her private part or she touches his private part, the ablution is invalidated by touching the private parts. Likewise, if something is emitted from him, such as pre-seminal fluid, his ablution is invalidated. Likewise, if pre-seminal fluid is emitted from her, her ablution is invalidated. And if semen is emitted, the full ritual bath becomes obligatory for him or for her. Yes.
