The ruling on sending blessings upon the Prophet for a menstruating woman

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
You are asking another question, if you please, O Shaykh, and you say: Is it permissible for a woman to send blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) while she is in her state of excuse?
Answer: Yes, it is permissible for a woman to send blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in all circumstances, even if she is in a state of menstruation or post-natal bleeding, just as she remembers Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He). Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said:
The Apostle of Allah (ﷺ) used to remember Allah at all moments.كان النبي ﷺ يذكر الله على كل أحيانه
Sahih Muslim 373
meaning: in a state of major ritual impurity and others. So if the menstruating woman says: Subhan Allah, Alhamdulillah, La ilaha illa Allah, and Allahu Akbar, that is good. And so it is for the woman with post-natal bleeding. And so it is if she sends blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), for sending blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is part of the remembrance of Allah.
So for the menstruating woman and the woman with post-natal bleeding, it is prescribed for them to remember Allah and send blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in all circumstances, except in the case of major ritual impurity, where one does not recite the Qur'an specifically. And so the man does not recite the Qur'an in a state of major ritual impurity. As for remembrance other than the Qur'an, it is prescribed for the one in a state of major ritual impurity, the menstruating woman, and the woman with post-natal bleeding to increase in the remembrance of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He). However, the one in a state of major ritual impurity is an exception, for he does not recite the Qur'an until he performs the full ritual bath, and he does not touch the mushaf until he performs the full ritual bath. And so the menstruating woman and the woman with post-natal bleeding do not touch the mushaf except after the full ritual bath. But there is nothing wrong with reciting it from memory, because their duration is long; they are not like the one in a state of major ritual impurity, whose duration is short. The duration of the menstruating woman and the woman with post-natal bleeding is long, so there is no harm in their reciting the Qur'an from memory according to the stronger of the two opinions of the scholars. Yes.
The presenter: May Allah reward you.
