The validity of the statement: (That the Day of Resurrection has already taken place)

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Has the Day of Resurrection already taken place or not? And if it has not taken place, who are the people that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saw while they were being punished?
Answer: The Day of Resurrection has not yet taken place up to now, and it will take place when Allah wills it to take place. This is part of the knowledge of the unseen, which is the knowledge of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) ; He is the One who knows when it will take place. However, it will take place, and people will be resurrected from their graves, and they will be recompensed for their deeds. They will end up in Paradise or in the Fire: the people of faith in Paradise, and the people of disbelief in the Fire. There are conditions that occur before it, including: the sun rising from the west, and the emergence of the Dajjal, who is a person who calls people to believe that he is a prophet, and then calls them to believe that he is the Lord of the worlds; he is a vile disbeliever. There are also other matters, such as the descent of Jesus, the son of Mary, from the sky, and the sun rising from the west as mentioned earlier, the demolition of the Ka'bah, and the removal of the Qur'an from the chests of people and from the mushafs. All of these occur before the Day of Resurrection.
As for what the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw, that was on the night of his Isra (night journey). Some things were shown to him; Paradise and the Fire were shown to him. He saw some of those who are being punished in the Fire, and he saw Paradise and the bliss within it. Matters of the unseen were shown to him, and he was informed of them by the permission of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) , and some things were shown to him by Jibril at the beginning of the revelation, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) was informed of them. These are matters he was informed of from the side of Allah (Mighty and Majestic); some of them were on the night of the Mi'raj (ascension) when he was ascended to the sky, and some of them were at other times through the revelation and what Jibril brought to him (peace and blessings be upon him).
