Is it permissible to practice coitus interruptus for the purpose of raising the child?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Is it permissible to practice coitus interruptus for the purpose of raising the child in the case of artificial breastfeeding due to an illness in the mother's breast?

Answer:
The original ruling is that coitus interruptus is permissible; this is the default. It is permissible to practice coitus interruptus for a legitimate Shari'ah interest, or for reasons agreed upon by the husband and wife. However, it should not be prolonged, because frequent coitus interruptus may cause problems for everyone. But if it is for a short period, such as what was reported from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), Jabir said: "We used to practice coitus interruptus while the Qur'an was being revealed, and if it had been something to be forbidden, the Qur'an would have forbidden it." So coitus interruptus existed during his time (peace and blessings be upon him), and he did not forbid it.
