Is the book *The Answered Supplication* authentic in its hadiths?

We have heard from some of our noble scholars the statement that the book which has spread among people of all classes is not authentic. It is the book *The Answered Supplication* by its author Ahmad Abdul Jawad, and they have warned against reading it. However, observation in reality shows an increase in its spread and its abundance in bookstores and libraries. Therefore, we would like you to clarify the matter of this book for us. If the matter is as we have heard, why is no effort made to collect it from the bookstores and markets and warn people against it? May Allah preserve you and care for you.

Answer:
We have looked into this, and it is a poor book. It contains fabricated hadiths and many religious innovations. A statement was issued by the Department of Ifta for the authorities declaring that it is an unsound book, that it is obligatory to prohibit it, prevent it from entering the country, and stop its sale in bookstores. This is what was issued by us from the Department of Ifta to clarify the falsehood contained in it, and that it must be confiscated and prevented from entering the country.
There are other books for which the Department of Ifta has issued a statement declaring them harmful, and that it is obligatory to confiscate them and prevent them from entering the country. And yet, they enter for many reasons.
So we ask Allah to guide the authorities to take care of this matter, and to attack these bookstores repeatedly, time after time, until they know what falsehood is in them, and until they confiscate the prohibited items in them, and until they punish the negligent ones. And we will do, if Allah wills, what we can to follow up on this matter.
