They display Islam to plot against Islam, and out of revenge against Islam, or ... to take their wealth, their souls, and their blood; until they find the opportunity. If they find the opportunity, they reveal their falsehood, their evil, and their hostility toward Islam.
So Sufism has new, innovated paths for which Allah has not sent down any authority. The Sufis are of different types, with various methods and categories in their following and their conduct ... not what the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) brought, but what the shaykh clarifies for them, what the shaykh calls them to, and what they pledge allegiance to him upon. They take his word, follow him in his action, and they are with him like the dead with the washer. They do not contradict him, nor do they deviate from his word, but they execute what he says just as the washer executes his actions with the dead. The dead have no movement or control. They have evil deeds, and they have bad news. They are layers and sections.
So it is obligatory to be cautious of what is called Sufism and the Sufis, and that the believer be with insight regarding them, in Egypt, the Levant, Iraq, and in every place, wherever they are; so that he may be cautious of what they call to, and so that he may be upon certainty, and know what they say.
