Q 2: What is Sufism , and is it a danger to the religion, and what is the ruling on sitting with the Sufis ?
A 2: The majority of the Sufis in this time are a misguided sect, having a methodology in worship that contradicts what the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) brought, and they receive their religion from the heads of their paths and their shaykhs, and they believe in them that they benefit and harm besides Allah, and it is not permissible to sit with them or accompany them except for one who calls them to Allah and makes them see the Sunnah. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and his Companions.
