The Ruling on Swearing by the Signs of Allah

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Does he swear by the verses of Allah?

Answer:
Likewise, if he means by the verses of Allah the Qur'an, there is no harm. But if he means by the verses of Allah the night and the day, or the sun and the moon, it is not permissible, because they are created things.
As for when he says, "I swear by the verses of Allah," or "I swear by the verses of Allah," meaning the Qur'an, it is the speech of Allah. And if he says, "I swear by the verses of Allah," or "I swear by the verses of Allah," meaning the night and the day, or the sun and the moon, or the heavens and the earth, it is not permissible, because they are created things
And of His signs are the night and day and the sun and moonوَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ اللَّيْلُ وَالنَّهَارُ وَالشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُ
