The Obligation Regarding the Increase in the Activity of the Shi'ah in Their Da'wah

At this time, their activity has increased, especially in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines, and particularly in Africa, which was previously free of Shi'ism. The number of Shi'ah in the African continent has reached hundreds of thousands, and they have left the Sunnah in these countries we mentioned. Their activity has also increased in reminding people of Shi'ism in many countries that we cannot enumerate. Therefore, the role of scholars in da'wah and guidance is to clarify the creed of the Shi'ah and the evil they are in. We inform you that many of those who deceive Muslims advertise for them and say: "There is no difference between us and them." This is the reason for converting Sunnis to Shi'ah, and their da'wah has begun to spread among people in a secretive manner. We ask Your Eminence to answer and to dedicate lectures that clarify the creed of the Shi'ah. Peace be upon you.

What the questioner mentioned has reached us, and it is known and widespread. It is known regarding the matter of the Rafidah Shi'ah, who are called the Twelver Sect, the Ja'fariyyah, and the Imamiyyah. Especially after Khomeini took over the leadership of this state, their evil spread and became apparent in many places.
The da'iyah to Allah and the scholars who are considered scholars from the people of the Sunnah have become aware of this matter. They continue to fight this Shi'ism and warn people of its danger, stating that it is a detestable religious innovation and a means to associating partners with Allah, to cursing the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them and grant them satisfaction), to worshipping al-Husayn, and to a return to polytheism (may Allah protect us from that). This is a known matter, and the well-known scholars are aware of it. So are the da'iyah, those following the Dar al-Ifta, and those following the Rabitah. They have knowledge of this, and, with the praise of Allah, they have activity that we hope Allah will use to benefit the ummah.
It is obligatory upon the scholars of the Sunnah, and the da'iyah to the oneness of Allah, and the da'iyah to the Sunnah in every place, whether they are employees or not, that they double their efforts in da'wah to the Sunnah and in denying all religious innovations, especially the innovation of... They must be earnest about this in the Friday sermons, in their other sermons, and in all their circumstances, especially in the countries where they have a presence and da'wah in those countries, through embassies or other means. Because this is the way to ward off their evil and to warn Muslims of this ugly religious innovation. There is no doubt that it is obligatory for us and for others to double our efforts in this regard.
The da'wah of the Khomeinist, Rafidi, Imami, Ja'fari Shi'ah is abominable. It calls to much evil. It calls to cursing the Companions, and cursing al-Siddiq, 'Umar, and 'Uthman. It claims that their state is invalid, that they are oppressors, and that they wronged 'Ali, among other things. They curse most of the Companions, declare many of them open sinners, and declare some of them disbelievers. So they are between declaring the Companions disbelievers and declaring them open sinners. If the Companions who transmitted the Sunnah and the Shari'ah are open sinners or disbelievers, how can the Shari'ah be valid at that time? This is one of the greatest trials and corruptions on earth. We seek refuge in Allah.
Likewise, they call upon them, saying that the imams of the People of the House, and at their head 'Ali, know the unseen, that they are infallible, and that it is permissible to invoke them besides Allah, to call upon them for aid, to make vows to them, and to seek their help, support, and rescue. All of this is shirk (associating partners with Allah) and major kufr (disbelief).
It is obligatory upon the people of knowledge to clarify their matter and to be fully aware of their situation wherever they are, so that they can clarify this trial to people and remind them of it. This is so that their evil does not increase in Africa or elsewhere. Likewise, in the Eastern region, there are those present there in al-Qatif and elsewhere, and there is some of that in al-Madinah as well.
It is obligatory upon the scholars to clarify this matter and to call those around them to follow the Sunnah and revere it, and not to follow the misguided scholars of the Shi'ah in this dangerous matter (may Allah grant us safety).
