The ruling on pronouncing three divorces at once

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
My wife went to visit her sister without my permission, so I got angry and said to her: "If you go without my permission, you are divorced, then divorced, then divorced." After a while, she went with her family while I was not present. Does the divorce take effect? I now want to be released from the marriage; do I have to pay an expiation, or what should I do?

Answer:
This differs if you said this to prevent her from going, and you did not intend divorce, but rather intended to stop her and frighten her. In that case, it is an oath, and you owe an expiation for an oath if she goes without your permission.
But if you intended divorce, then the divorce takes effect as three pronouncements: divorced, then divorced, then divorced. If you intended to effect the divorce, and she did it, she is forbidden to you until she marries a husband other than you.
