The Shaykh’s remarks on those who fabricated lies against him, attacked him, and accused him of false charges because of his fatwa on the emigration of the people of Palestine

The Shaykh : And as I mentioned recently, there are two reports, and they are considered two very great reports in the book al-Adab al-Mufrad by Imam al-Bukhari. I will conclude this speech with these two reports, if Allah wills. The first report is from Umm al-Darda’ the Tabi’i. I say the Tabi’i because there are two women, both named or known as Umm al-Darda’. Umm al-Darda’ the wife of Abu al-Darda’ is a Companion’s wife, a wife of a Companion. Umm al-Darda’ the Tabi’i is this one. Someone told her, saying, “So-and-so is speaking ill of you and saying such and such about you.” So what did she say? She said, “What Allah willed.” She said, “Long have we been accused of what is not in us. Long have we been accused of what is not in us.” This corresponds to, “Long have we praised what is not in us.” Meaning she indicated that people do not have balance; when they speak ill, they exaggerate, and when they praise, they exaggerate. So she says, do not be surprised if so-and-so is speaking ill of me, accusing me of what is not in me, for long have we praised what is not in us. This is the first report. And the other report is from al-Hasan al-Basri. And now I doubt whether it is in al-Adab al-Mufrad or in another book. “A person came to him and said, ‘So-and-so said such and such about you,’ meaning he was attacking him. So he entered the room and came out with a paper containing
of every fruit, two kinds. مِنْ كُلِّ فَاكِهَةٍ زَوْجَانِ
[Ar-Rahman 55:52]
. He said, ‘Take this paper and present it to so-and-so and tell him, this is a gift from al-Hasan al-Basri in return for the good deeds you send to him without counting.’” Hehehe. Therefore, we are truly affected by these oppressive, wicked people who do not fear Allah and do not feel shame before the servants of Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He). We fear for them on the Day of Resurrection, the day of
One of them will come with good deeds like mountains, and another will come having struck this one, taken this one’s money, and insulted this one. So this one will take from his good deeds, and this one from his good deeds, until nothing remains of his good deeds. Then they will take from his bad deeds, and they will be cast upon him, and he will be cast into the Fire
. We grieve for these people. Otherwise, our brothers who accompany us for much of the time know that these fabrications, from his saying that this is not a Jew, that this is a Shaykh Dajjal, that this is such and such, these are good deeds he presents to me. But the poor man, on the Day of Resurrection, if he comes with good deeds like mountains, he will receive his due from Allah. With Allah the disputes are gathered. And perhaps this amount is sufficient, and we will hear another question, if Allah wills...
