Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : If you please, if one prays and after the completion of the prayer it becomes clear that he was in a state of major ritual impurity, must he repeat it?

The Shaykh: Yes.

The questioner : All right, regarding the hadith that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came and entered and prayed, and his head was dripping with water?

The Shaykh : Yes, this does not mention that it was after the prayer.

The questioner : It was during the prayer.

The Shaykh : During the prayer, he does as the Messenger did, and after the prayer, he does as 'Umar ruled.
The student : Peace be upon you. We love you for the sake of Allah, my brother.

The Shaykh : May Allah love you for the sake of which you loved me.
The student : Peace be upon you, our Shaykh.

The Shaykh: And upon you peace.
The student : What service can I offer you, my Shaykh?

The Shaykh : Are you going?
The student : If Allah wills.

The Shaykh : Goodbye.
The student: Peace be upon you.

The Shaykh : And peace be upon you.

The questioner : You said earlier that if one enters upon the original state... his original state, so he entered upon the original state that he was in, meaning he entered upon the original state of ritual purity, and then prayed?

The Shaykh : I understand. In this case, he does as the Messenger did. In the other case, as 'Umar ruled, if he prays and after the prayer he remembers that he was in a state of major ritual impurity or that he was not in a state of ablution, he must repeat the prayer.

The questioner : May Allah reward you with good.

The Shaykh : And may Allah protect you, if Allah wills.
