Among the rulings of endowments.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Is it permissible to make an endowment contingent upon death, and is it permissible to revoke it as long as one is alive?

Answer:
Answer: We have previously given the answer to this: this has the ruling of a bequest. It is permissible for the endowment to be contingent upon death and to take the ruling of a bequest; because it is reduced to one-third and does not exceed one-third. It takes the ruling of a bequest, and one has the right to revoke it as long as he is alive; he has the right to retract. This is unlike an immediate endowment, in which one cannot retract.
