Prayers with specific causes during the prohibited times.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
I was afflicted with worry and sadness, and I wanted to pray following the Sunnah of the Messenger Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), but the time was a prohibited time after the 'Asr prayer. Should I pray even though it is a prohibited time? And what are the prohibited times?

Answer:
Answer: Do not pray during the prohibited times except for prayers with specific causes; there is scholarly disagreement regarding those. As for prayers without specific causes, they are not prayed during the prohibited times because the hadith prohibiting prayer in them is authentic. These times are: from after the Fajr prayer until the sun rises, and from after it rises until it has risen the height of a spear, and when it is standing in the middle of the sky until it declines toward the west. And after the 'Asr prayer until just before sunset, then the fifth time is until the sun sets. This is the detailed explanation. As for the general explanation, you say: The prohibited times are three: from the rising of the second dawn until the sun has risen the height of a spear, when it is standing until it declines, and after the 'Asr prayer until the sun sets.
