How the Muslim Achieves the Conditions of the Accepted Hajj

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
How does the Muslim achieve the conditions of the accepted Hajj? And what is the accepted Hajj?

Answer:
He (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “The accepted Hajj has no reward except Paradise.” The accepted Hajj is that which is performed in the prescribed manner, pure for Allah (Mighty and Majestic), as Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He) said: “And complete the Hajj and the 'Umrah for Allah.” “And complete the Hajj” means complete the rituals of Hajj and 'Umrah. His saying “for Allah” means singling out Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He) with tawhid (the oneness of Allah) and worship, and that the pilgrim’s intention be pure for the Face of Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He), not hoping for worldly gain, not hoping for showing off or fame, but rather being pure for the Face of Allah. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Whoever comes to this House and does not commit lewdness or sin returns as his mother bore him.” A new birth after the accepted Hajj; the Muslim returns from his Hajj as on the day his mother bore him. There is no doubt that a newborn has no sins upon him. Likewise, this pilgrim, if he comes to this Hajj and makes it accepted, and does not commit lewdness or sin, he returns as on the day his mother bore him; so it is a new birth for the Muslim.
