The Difference Between Qist and 'Adl

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
What is the difference between qist and 'adl?

Answer:
Answer: Qist is 'adl, and 'adl remains, just as the legislative commands remain until the Hour stands. It is not specific to the predecessors to the exclusion of the successors. The Muslim community, from its beginning to its end, all share one Shari'ah. It is obligatory for them to perform the commands and obligations and to leave the prohibitions and forbidden things, all of them, from the sending of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) until the Hour stands. The Shari'ah remains.
