Reserving a place in the mosque for an elderly man

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Regarding reserving a place in the mosque for an elderly man on a continuous basis in the main mosque?

Answer:
Answer: If he is in the mosque but goes, for example, to another part of the mosque to rest and places something to reserve his place in the row while he is still in the mosque, there is nothing wrong with that. However, if he reserves the place and leaves for his errands and work, this is not permissible, and the barrier must be removed. The mosque belongs to whoever arrived first, unless, for example, he went out to perform ablution or for a brief need and then returns; in that case, there is nothing wrong with it, and he has the stronger right to it.
