The fasting person’s need for dental treatment during fasting

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q8: A dentist uses certain substances that the patient may taste or smell. Does the presence of their taste or smell in the throat affect the fast? It is known that the patient may be able to postpone the treatment until night or even until after Ramadan.
A8: If the fasting person needs dental treatment during fasting, there is nothing wrong with that, provided he takes full care to prevent any of the medicines or residues of the treatment from reaching his throat. If something reaches him without his intention, he has done nothing wrong.
