Q4: If I am working in Saudi Arabia and I am from an Islamic country
neighboring , and my country mandates that I not perform Hajj until after five years, and an opportunity arose for me after three years , and I am a resident in Saudi Arabia , is it permissible for me to perform Hajj, or must I wait for my country's mandate?
A4 : If the Hajj is the obligatory Hajj, it is obligatory for you to perform it when the opportunity arises; because of the saying of Allah the Exalted:[Ali 'Imran 3:97], and you should not wait for the country's designation. But if the Hajj is a voluntary Hajj, you have the choice between performing Hajj or waiting until the country's designation comes due. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
