Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The fifth question of the fatwa numbered ( 17705 )
Q5: What is the ruling if a woman fasts the six days of Shawwal while she has not made up what she owes from Ramadan ?
A5: It is better for one who owes making up fasts from Ramadan to start with them before fasting the six days of Shawwal; because the obligatory is prior to the voluntary. However, what this woman did is considered contrary to what is best, and she must fast what she owes in making up.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
