Paying the value of the sacrificial animal

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa number ( 18280 )
Q1: Is it permissible to pay the value of the sheep for the 'aqiqah or the udhiyah and give this amount to charitable organizations that support orphans, the poor, and the needy, instead of buying a sheep and slaughtering it? I have read a fatwa by one of the scholars, whose name I do not remember, in which he ruled that it is permissible to give the value of the udhiyah to the Islamic Forum? Please answer us, may Allah reward you, and may Allah preserve you.
A1: It is not permissible to pay the value instead of slaughtering the 'aqiqah or the udhiyah; because slaughtering them, eating from their meat, and giving charity from it is an act of worship that cannot be replaced by giving the value as charity. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
