After purity, blood came down on her due to taking pills

Fatwa number ( 19353 )
Q: I am a woman who uses birth control pills, specifically in Ramadan, so that I would be in a state of purity during Ramadan. I did not use them except in the middle of Sha'ban. My period came at the beginning of Ramadan and lasted for six days. After that, I performed the full ritual bath to become pure and continue fasting for the month of Ramadan. However, I was surprised to find drops of blood and mucus coming down day after day, and it was not like my usual monthly period. Please note that I have an IUD inserted. On the days when these drops came, I did not break my fast; rather, I continued fasting. Do I have to make up any days or not?
A: If the matter is as you described, then your fast is valid, and your prayer is valid. The water and drops of blood that you mentioned came down on you after purity from the usual period are not considered menstruation. You must perform the ablution for the time of every prayer while they are present, just like other women with irregular bleeding and those with constant incontinence. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
