The first question of Fatwa No. ( 17942 )
Q1: A woman used pills to stop her monthly period during Hajj, so her cycle changed. It used to be eight days, but after her period ended, it would return after three days and stay with her for a day or two before she became pure. Is the ruling on that return menstruation or irregular bleeding? She fasted one day of Ramadan during it. Does she have to make it up because it was menstruation, or does she owe nothing? Please give us a ruling, may Allah reward you.
A1: It appears that this blood is menstruation, and she must make up the day she fasted during it. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
