Q3: Is there zakah on washing machines in shops or not?
A3: Machines used in work, whether for washing or otherwise, are not subject to zakah. Rather, zakah is due on the money obtained from the work if it reaches the nisab (minimum threshold for zakah) on its own or when combined with other assets, and a lunar year has passed over it. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
