Selling a phone card for more than its price

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 21243 )
Q: As you know, O Shaykh, that prepaid cards have appeared
known as (Zajool cards), and it has become common among shops to buy these cards from a company like the Saudi Communications Company for fifty riyals, then sell them for fifty-three riyals, even though the buyer only uses them for fifty riyals. What is the ruling on the shop owner taking the extra three riyals, or more or less? Likewise, the external cabin cards, where the company reduces the price by one or two riyals per card for those who buy a quantity, so that he retains a profit, meaning they give it to him for less than its original value. Do you see anything wrong with this practice?

A: There is no harm in selling and buying this type of telephone card, because its reality is the sale of a permissible benefit. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
