Q: Is the Qur'anic competition permissible or not?
A: There is nothing wrong with a competition in memorizing and reciting the Noble Qur'an, and receiving a prize for it, provided that the competing student does not pay any money; because that is assistance in memorizing the Qur'an and seeking knowledge.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
