Repentance from Deception

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q10: A questioner says that he has repented from all sins, but his heart is not at ease regarding some of the sins he used to commit, including deception in the sale of goods, such as the cars he sells to people. What
is the ruling in that matter?

A10: Repentance wipes out what came before it, and the one who repents from a sin is like one who has no sin. If a person’s repentance is from sins that involve the rights of other people, it is obligatory for him to dispose of them. If you know the owners of the goods in which you deceived, compensate them for it. Otherwise, give in charity what is equivalent to it, with the intention that the reward of that is for them.
