A person may pray in any mosque he wishes

The second question of Fatwa No. ( 14291 )
Q2: My brother is the imam of a small mosque in the neighborhood, and there are congregational mosques in the city. I pray some of the obligatory prayers and the tarawih in one of these congregational mosques because the imam of that mosque has a very beautiful voice that has a wonderful effect, and he has memorized the entire Qur'an, praise be to Allah, and there is a large number of worshippers there. But
the problem is that my brother does not like this and gets upset with me, saying: I must pray with him, me and my brothers. The problem developed until he told his mother, who is our mother, and she got upset with us and said: You must pray with your brother. What is the ruling of the Shari'ah in this? Please inform us, may Allah reward you?
A2: It is permissible for a person to pray in any mosque he wishes, especially if the imam has a beautiful recitation that helps in humility in prayer. It is not befitting for your brother to compel you to pray behind him. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
