Deliberate Error in Reciting the Qur'an

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q: What is the ruling on deliberately making errors in reciting the Noble Qur'an during teaching in order to grab the students' attention, given that we visited one of the teachers accompanied by the educational supervisor, and he approved of this teaching method and requested that we adopt it, but we refused because this method is not customary in instruction and it may entrench the error in the students' minds. You know the impact it has, especially on young children, as their ages do not exceed eight or nine. Please advise us, may Allah reward you.
A: Deliberately making errors in reciting the Noble Qur'an when training students in order to grab their attention is not known from any of the righteous predecessors who carried the Noble Qur'an and taught it to people. Teaching the Qur'an to learners is an act of worship by which one draws near to Allah the Exalted, so it is not permissible to perform it in a manner other than its proper form. A Qur'an teacher can direct questions to his students to help them solidify their memorization and remove confusion between similar verses, and this is sufficient to avoid deliberately having the students hear the Noble verse recited with distortion.
