He forgot a rak'ah and made it up but did not prostrate for forgetfulness

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The third question of Fatwa No. ( 14594 )
Q3: A man caught up with the congregational midday prayer after they had risen from the last rak'ah. He joined them, and after the imam's taslim, he stood and performed one rak'ah, then sat for the tashahhud, stood up and performed two more rak'ahs, recited the tashahhud, and said the taslim. A man was watching him.
After his taslim, the man reminded him that he owed a rak'ah and the prostration for forgetfulness. So he stood and performed a rak'ah and said the taslim , but he did not perform the prostration for forgetfulness. What is the ruling on his prayer , and what is obligatory for him to do?

A3 : If he intentionally left out the prostration for forgetfulness, his prayer is invalid and he must repeat it. If he left it out due to forgetfulness or ignorance, he does not have to repeat it, and his prayer is valid. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
