A 1 : Some of the masters of hadith have weakened this hadith; therefore, what it indicates—that the one who becomes ritually impure during his prayer turns away, then performs ablution, and returns to complete the remainder of his prayer—is not correct. Rather, a state of ritual impurity during prayer invalidates it, and the person must, after renewing his ablution, restart the prayer from the beginning; as indicated by the hadith of 'Ali ibn Talq (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:Bulugh al-Maram 2:68 It was narrated by Ahmad and Abu Dawud and al-Tirmidhi and al-Nasa'i and Ibn Majah , and it was authenticated by Ibn Hibban . And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
