The third question of Fatwa No. ( 5849 )
Q3: When I perform wudu' and then a period of time passes, for example between the 'Asr and Maghrib prayers, or I walk a long distance, I feel the discharge of madhi. If this happens to me while I am in prayer, should I leave and perform wudu', or is my prayer valid?
A3: The one praying does not leave his prayer until he is certain of the occurrence of the state of ritual impurity; for what is established in the two Sahihs from the hadith of 'Abdullah ibn Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him), who said:Sunan al-Bayhaqi 10:2364 , and the meaning is that whenever the occurrence of the state of ritual impurity and the discharge of madhi, or any other of the things that invalidate wudu', is confirmed, then he must perform wudu' and repeat the prayer; for what is in the two Sahihs from
the hadith of 'Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), who said:Musnad Ahmad 606Lts isnad is Sahih, al-Bukhari (132) . And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.

I was a man who emitted a great deal of madhi, but I felt too shy to ask the Prophet (ﷺ) about that because of the position of his daughter, so I told al-Miqdad bin al-Aswad to ask him, and he said: `Let him wash his private part and do wudoo’.`
