Q: We are the passport section in Baljurashi next to one of the mosques. It consists of two floors, and our workplace is on the second floor, with a door leading from the mosque to the second floor. When performing the prayers, we pray with the imam of the mosque, while we are on the second floor of the mosque. It is known that the first floor is spacious, and in this situation, there is one or two rows with the imam, and we are on the second floor in one or two rows , and we can see the imam and the worshippers with him from the mosque’s arcade. Our question is: Is our prayer in this situation valid, or are we required to
go down to the first floor with the imam and complete the rows with him? Please inform us, may Allah reward you with good.
A: It is obligatory for you to go down to the lower floor to complete the rows, in compliance with the command of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) to complete the rows; for it is established that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:Mishkat al-Masabih 1086 , and it is established from the hadith of Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Sahih al-Bukhari 723 . And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.

Make the rows perfect, for I can see you behind my back.
أتموا الصفوف فإني أراكم من وراء ظهريStraighten your rows as the straightening of rows is essential for a perfect and correct prayer.
سووا صفوفكم فإن تسوية الصفوف من إقامة الصلاة
