The imam prostrated in the prostration of recitation, but the worshippers behind him did not notice it

Fatwa number ( 15914 )
Q: If the imam prostrated in the prostration of recitation, but the worshippers behind him did not notice it , and some of them bowed and did not prostrate with their imam, and they did not notice until the imam had risen from his prostration, thereby adding something new, which is bowing. What is the ruling?
A: If the matter is as mentioned, then the bowing of some of the followers by mistake when the imam prostrated for recitation is not considered, and they must follow their imam. If they are able to prostrate with the imam in the prostration of recitation, they should do so; otherwise, they should follow him in standing, then bow with him, and their prayer is valid. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
