The first question of Fatwa number ( 17556 )
Q 1: A person recites the Qur'an and encounters a prostration verse while it is a time when prayer is prohibited , such as when the sun is beginning to rise or setting?
A 1: It is permissible for the reciter, when he encounters a prostration verse, to prostrate even if it is a time when prayer is prohibited; because the prostration of recitation does not carry the rulings of prayer. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
