A2: The Prayer of Remembrance is not prescribed; because the hadith reported regarding it is not established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Furthermore, it contradicts the prescribed prayers in their forms and in what is said and done in them, which indicates its lack of legitimacy. And what is authentic from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) regarding prayers is sufficient for this strange prayer that contradicts what is known from the pure Shari'ah. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his companions.
