The first question of Fatwa No. ( 19698 )
Q1: It is reported in a hadith from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):Mishkat al-Masabih 971 , and the question here is: Are these two rak'ahs part of the Dhuha prayer, or are they a voluntary prayer distinct from the Dhuha voluntary prayer, the completion of which is eight rak'ahs?
A1: These two rak'ahs mentioned in the hadith are part of the Dhuha prayer, but they have a special virtue because they are linked to sitting in his prayer place after the Fajr prayer until the sun rises. The best time for the Dhuha prayer is when the young camels feel the heat, which is when the Dhuha is intense before the sun reaches its zenith. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
