The ruling if a person prays in his home and there are magazines in the place where he prays

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 20583 )
Q 2: What is the ruling if a person prays in his home and there are magazines and newspapers in the place where he prays, containing pictures that are visible on the desk, the carpet, or the like?
A 2: It is obligatory for the Muslim to pray in the mosque with the congregation of the mosque, and he should not pray alone or in his home except for a valid religious excuse that permits him to do so. It is disliked to face pictures and to pray in a place where pictures are hung on the walls. If the pictures are lying on the ground, they are in a state of humiliation. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
