Breaking the Ablution After the Shaf' Prayer: Does One Repeat It with the Witr?
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa No. ( 17580 )
Q1: A man prayed 'Isha and the shaf', and he passed wind during the witr. Does he perform ablution and repeat the shaf' and the witr, or not? ?
A1: If he prayed the rak'ah of the witr alone, separate from the rest, and he became ritually impure during it, then he repeats only the witr. If he prayed the witr and the shaf' together with a single taslim, and then became ritually impure before the taslim, then he repeats both of them. It should be known that all of this is voluntary, not obligatory. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
