Q 2: Wiping over the leather socks is permissible according to the Sunnah if the leather socks are thick. Is it permissible to wipe over socks ?
A 2: It is permissible to wipe over anything that covers the feet, from the leather socks and thick socks worn over them; because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) wiped over the leather socks and wiped over the socks when he wore them after completing ritual purity, and he ordered wiping over the leather socks for a period of one day and one night for the resident, starting from the wiping after the state of impurity, and for three days and their nights for the traveler. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
