The first question of Fatwa No. ( 16731 )
Q1: I have a paralyzed leg, and I walk with a cane and pray with it. What is the ruling on this prayer, with guidance?
A1 : Your prayer is valid, if Allah wills, and it is established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said:Sunan Abi Dawud 952Sahih (Al-Albani) Standing is a pillar of the prayer, provided the one praying is able to do it by his own means or by something that assists him, such as a cane. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
