Explanation of the Book of Fitnahs and Rulings-05b

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Then the author said:
It was narrated to us by 'Abdan, up to where he said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Whoso obeys me obeys God
Sahih Muslim 1835c
This is like His saying, the Exalted:
He who obeys the Messenger has obeyed Allah
[An-Nisa 4:80]
and whose disobeys me disobeys God
Sahih Muslim 1835c
It is derived from the implication of His saying, the Exalted:
He who obeys the Messenger has obeyed Allah
[An-Nisa 4:80]
meaning that whoever disobeys the Messenger has disobeyed Allah.
Whoso obeys my commander obeys me
Sahih Muslim 1835c
My commander is the one I have commanded who proceeds in accordance with what I have directed him to do. This is why he said "my commander," even though sometimes "his commander" or "the commander" is mentioned. However, the intended meaning is the commander who is like the one the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded.
obeys me, and whoso disobeys my commander disobeys me.
Sahih Muslim 1835c
Because the commander of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) proceeds by his command and follows his guidance. This does not mean that his commanders are infallible; they are subject to error. But the original state of them, I mean the commanders whom the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) commands, is righteousness and accuracy. Yes.
