Interrupting the prayer when a child cries
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 18451 )
Q2: If a child cries or makes a fuss while I am praying beside him, is it permissible for me to interrupt my prayer and pick him up or pick him up and complete my prayer?
A2 : There is no harm in carrying a child during the prayer; because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to carry Ummamah, the daughter of his daughter Zaynab , while he was praying. It is not permissible to interrupt the prayer for that reason, unless the child’s condition becomes dangerous and he needs to be rescued. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
