I have not prayed since reaching puberty, so what is the ruling on the prayers I missed?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa No. ( 16109 )
Q 1: I inform your Eminence that I have not prayed since reaching puberty, which is approximately 15 years, and when my Lord guided me, I began to pray. What is the ruling on the prayers I did not perform , are they still a debt upon me, are the voluntary prayers I perform not sufficient to make them up, and if I am required to make them up, what is the method of making them up?
A 1: If one intentionally abandons the prayer, the correct view is that he commits disbelief thereby; due to the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
Between the servant and disbelief and shirk (associating partners with Allah) is the abandonment of prayerبين العبد وبين الكفر والشرك ترك الصلاة
narrated by Muslim . Based on this, if he repents to Allah the Exalted, he does not make up what he abandoned, but rather he must maintain the performance of the prayer in the future, along with the recommendation to increase in voluntary prayers, so that perhaps Allah will accept his repentance.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
