Q1: If the time for the Zuhr prayer arrives and I am in a place where there is no water, is it permissible for me to perform tayammum and pray Zuhr in its time, given that I am certain I will obtain water by the time of 'Asr? Or must I delay Zuhr until 'Asr and pray them together? Please inform us, may Allah reward you with good.
A1 : It is obligatory for you, if the time for the Zuhr prayer enters and you are a resident and you do not find water, to perform tayammum and pray, and not to delay the prayer beyond its time; because Allah says:[An-Nisa 4:43] , and because the time takes precedence over purification with water. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
