Ruling on Wiping the Ears

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The third question of Fatwa No. ( 14618 )
Q 3: Is the ablution valid without wiping the inner part of the ears out of fear of harm? And if it is not valid, what should one do if he has prayed several times with such an ablution and does not know the number of times?
A 3: Wiping the ears, both their outer and inner parts, is obligatory among the obligations of ablution. However, if a person is convinced that harm will result from wiping the ears, he should leave off the wiping and perform dry ablution (tayammum) after the ablution, with the intention of covering them. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
