Q 10: If a person says the takbir in prayer, whether obligatory or recommended, and forgets to use the miswak, is it permissible for him to use the miswak after saying the takbir or not?
A 10: Using the miswak is recommended before entering into prayer, and it is not done during the prayer; because of the movement involved, and because it was not reported in this state. And in the hadith:Sunan Abi Dawud 47Sahih (Al-Albani) meaning: before entering into it. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
