The limit of hair for men and women

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The fourth question of Fatwa No. ( 18743 )
Q 4: What is the limit for men's and women's hair, whether short or long?
A 4: A man may shave his head, and he may let his hair grow in a manner that does not imitate the disbelievers. He should maintain it with cleanliness and arrangement in accordance with the Sunnah. He may also cut it and leave it as a tuft reaching the shoulders, as reported from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). As for the woman, it is forbidden for her to shave her head except out of dire necessity for treatment by shaving it. It is also forbidden for her to style it in the manner of a man’s head or in the manner of the hair of disbelieving women. It is better for her to let it grow and not cut it, because it is her beauty.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
