Adherence to a School of Jurisprudence

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 21030 )
Q 2: Is it necessary for every Muslim to adhere to a specific school of jurisprudence and rely solely on it to the exclusion of others?
A 2: It is not permissible for one who is capable of knowing the ruling based on its evidence to be fanatical about a specific school of jurisprudence; rather, he should take what is supported by evidence from any of the schools of the people of the Sunnah and the community. As for one who is unable to know the ruling based on its evidence, he should ask the scholars of knowledge and piety, as Allah the Exalted said:
So ask the people of the message if you do not know.فَاسْأَلُوا أَهْلَ الذِّكْرِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ
[An-Nahl 16:43]
. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
